I had noticed it when it came out in 1978, but BMW is expensive, and at that time I was still paying credit on the 750. In 1984, checking adds, looking for a horse trailer (we also had a mare), I ran into this 100RT of 1978. Just to check it out and have a look we go and test drive it, and what a surprise, it had the colors we dreamt of ( very few have these two tints. As aresult, no trailer, but two BMWs at home. Regretfully, I get rid of my 750 with wich I travelled over 100,000 km without any problem.
